Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan is an amazing series! It is about 12 year-old Perseus Jackson, who discovers Greek Gods are real, and that he is related to one. Percy (short for Perseus) goes to Camp Half Blood, a camp for half bloods (sons and daughters of Greek gods). In the camp, Percy makes some friends, but with his strong lineage his life isn't very easy. He has a lot of people wanting to harm him, at all costs. Percy embarks on a series of adventures with his friends Annabeth and Grover, and his loyalties are challenged. During this series, Percy fights his enemies, some of the Greek gods, and most importantly, he fights to find himself. He faces betrayal, doubt, and pain, but will that stop him?
I won't write anything else, I don't want to spoil that amazing series, but just for you to know, this is one of the best series I have ever read! Find out about Percy Jackson's destiny, and his adventures! Also, who doesn't want to see his romantic story with one of his best friends? (hint, hint!) :) I am sure you will love this series!

Cinder from The Lunar Chronicles

Cinder by Marissa Meyer is the first book from the Lunar Chronicles. The story happens in a futuristic world, with cyborgs and other technologically advanced things. Cinder is a cyborg which lives with her stepmom and her two step sisters. They don't treat Cinder as family, but more like as a servant. Cinder is the best mechanic in Commonwealth, the place where they live. Commonwealth has an emperor and a prince, but sadly. the emperor gets ill. Kai, the heir of the throne will have a ball where he will choose his bride. He invites Cinder as his personal guest, but she isn't sure if she wants to attend. More people get ill like the emperor, with a disease called Letumosis. Thousands of people die, and one of Cinder's stepsisters (the only one that treats her well) gets ill. Cinder can't take how bad they treat her, so she has a plan to run away, which is interrupted by her stepmother, who volunteers her for the cyborg draft(where they experiment different cures of the deadly disease on cyborgs). They make a very important discovery about Cinder, and she uncovers lots of mysteries from her past. Levana, the queen of Luna, comes to earth so she can secure marriage with prince Kai and govern earth just as she governs the moon, brainwashing and torturing her citizens.

As the story unfolds, other really important things happen, but I don't want to spoil anything. This Cinderella-like tale is amazing, and the rest of the series is too. There is a preponderance of romance, war, mystery, and of course lots, and lots of surprises. In my opinion, this is one of the best series I have ever read, and I really believe that everyone will love it too.

The Kane Chronicles

The Kane series is an amazing series written by Rick Riordan. It talks about two siblings, one named Carter which lives traveling around the world with his dad, and Sadie which lives with her grandparents. Their mom dies when they were young, and their dad is an archeologist. The two siblings don't really know each other, until one day, were everything changes, and their magical journey begins. This book talks about Egyptian mythology, and I really recommend it. If you want to find out more about Carter's and Sadie's destiny, read The Kane Chronicles.
